Legal Hacking: Lawyers and Technologists Working Together

Join the Atlanta Legal Innovation and Technology Meetup group on February 28th at WeWork Tower Place (in Buckhead) for our next event. We will host the Music City Legal Hackers (www.mclegalhackers.org ) who are coming to tell us about their group and help us launch a Legal Hackers group in Atlanta. We’ll gather at 5:30 for networking and the program will begin at 6 pm. RSVP to this Meetup page so that we can plan drinks and snacks.

Joining us will be several Music City Hackers including Larry Bridgesmith, Lori Gonzalez and Nicholas Lorenson.

Larry Bridgesmith J.D., is CEO of LegalAlignment LLC and a practicing lawyer in Nashville, Tennessee. Larry is an adjunct professor in legal project management, conflict management and mediation at Vanderbilt University School of Law, Belmont University Massey Graduate School of Business, The Nashville School of Law and the Albany Medical School Alden March Institute for Biomedical Ethics. He coordinates the Program on Law and Innovation at Vanderbilt School of Law.

Lori Gonzalez is the President of The RayNa Corporation – a company designed to assist law firms and solo attorneys with billing, efficiency and office operations. After receiving her paralegal certification in 2002, she worked in several firms filling many roles, including practice management software training and coordination. She is a frequent speaker for the Tennessee Bar Association on law firm management needs.

Nick Lorenson is the organizer of Code for Nashville (http://codefornashville.org), the Nashville chapter of Code for America, as well as a principal of fog.haus (http://fog.haus), a forward-thinking digital consultancy that focuses on sustainable business and social impact. In his spare time, he works at HCA as a software engineer and sleeps some.
